Position: Nutritionist
· Develop diet plans and develop detailed diet instructions for clients.
· Deliver reliable nutritional advice to the public and communities.
· Help people achieve optimal health by providing information and advice about health and food choices
· Design, coordinate, implement and evaluate a range of population health interventions to improve the wellbeing of individuals, communities and the population as a whole, through better food and nutrition.
· Effective communication skills with clients
· A wide range of knowledge in food and nutrition
· Initiative to gain further research into the field of nutrition and up to date research
· Helping clients see results which they havn’t been able to establish before
· Using own knowledge to help others through something I am passionate about

· A lot are on medication (statin, warfarin) for other health problems- need to refer to a dietitian.
· Very busy lifestyles, stressed and highly work orientated
· Higher demand as obesity levels rise
· More focus on preventative health and health promotion
